ENTRY PERIOD: The 2018 Faucet Buyer Survey Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”), begins on April 20, 2018 at 12:00:01 a.m. CST and ends on May 19, 2018 at 11:59:59 p.m. EST (the “Sweepstakes Period”), by which time all online surveys must be completed and entries must be received. The computer clock of QuestionPro, Inc. the administrator of the Sweepstakes, (“Administrator”) is the official timekeeping device of the Sweepstakes.
WHO CAN ENTER: The Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia (“D.C.”) who are 18 years of age or older (19 or older if a resident of AL or NE) at time of entry, and who receive an invitation e-mail. Employees, officers and directors of Moen, its parent company, affiliates and subsidiaries, Administrator, and the advertising and promotion agencies and agents of each of the foregoing, and any other entity that develops or distributes materials for or related to this Sweepstakes, and members of the immediate family (defined for these purposes as including parents, spouse, children, siblings, grandparents, and each of their respective spouses) or households (whether related or not) of any of the above, are NOT eligible to enter or win. The Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations and is void outside the 50 Unites States and D.C. and where prohibited by law.
HOW TO ENTER: During the Sweepstakes Period, follow the link provided within the invitation email to access and complete a Survey (the “Survey”). By completing of the Survey, individuals will be automatically entered into the Sweepstakes. Entries will be deemed made by the authorized e-mail account holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time of entry. "Authorized e-mail account holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. Limit one (1) entry per person or e-mail address or household address. Incomplete and/or multiple entries will be disqualified. All entries become the property of the Sponsor and will not be returned.
RANDOM DRAWING: Three (3) Grand Prize winners will be selected in a random drawing on or about May 25, 2018 from among all eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period. Proof that you entered the Sweepstakes does not constitute evidence that it was actually received by the appropriate deadline. Grand Prize winner will be notified by e-mail by a representative of Sponsor on or about June 1, 2018. Odds of winning will depend upon the number of eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period. The random drawing will be conducted by administrator.
PRIZES & VALUES: Three (3) Grand Prizes each consisting of a Two Hundred Fifty Dollar ($250 USD) e-Visa Gift Card, (Total Grand Prize Value: $750 USD). No transfer or substitution of prize or cash alternative permitted, except by Sponsor in its sole discretion. All taxes and fees on prize are the sole responsibility of the winner.
MAIL-IN ENTRY: To avoid taking a survey, you may enter by submitting a mail-in entry instead of the online entry as described above. To enter via this method, include your first and last name, street address, phone number and email address on an index card to Access2Insight, 2018 Faucet Buyer Survey Sweepstakes, c/o 917 W. Washington Blvd. #199, Chicago, IL 60607. Entries must be enclosed in an envelope with entrant's name and return address placed on the front left hand corner of envelope. (“Mail-in Entry”). Your Mail-in Entry must be mailed separately. Sponsor is not responsible for late, lost, damaged, illegible or postage-due mail. To be eligible for a given monthly drawing, your Mail-in Entry must be postmarked during the applicable Sweepstakes Period and received within seven (7) days later.
GENERAL RULES: Void where prohibited by law. Prize will be furnished within six (6) weeks of winner verification. Potential winner must sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility/Liability Release and, where lawful, a Publicity Release within fifteen (15) days of first attempted written notification or the prize may be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner selected based on the criteria stated herein. Return of any prize or prize notification as undeliverable will result in disqualification of the potential winner and an alternate winner will be selected based on the criteria stated herein. Acceptance of a prize constitutes winner’s agreement that Sponsor may use winner's name, biographical data and/or likeness for purposes of advertising and promotion in all media worldwide, without notice or further compensation, unless prohibited by law. By participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor, its parent, affiliates, subsidiaries, Administrator, and each of their respective directors, officers, shareholders, employees, agents, and advertising and promotional agencies (collectively the “Releasees”) from and against any and all liability for claims, costs, injuries, losses or damages or any kind, without limitation, which may occur in connection with use of the web site (including but not limited to damage to entrants’ or others’ computer equipment resulting from participation), their taking the Survey or entry into the Sweepstakes, or from their acceptance, possession use/misuse of any prize they may be awarded. By entering and participating in this promotion, entrants agree to be bound by the Official Rules and the decisions of Administrator and Sponsor. In the event there is a discrepancy or inconsistency between disclosures or other statements contained in any Sweepstakes materials and the terms and conditions of the Official Rules, the Official Rules shall prevail, govern and control.
ENTRY ERRORS/TAMPERING: Sponsor is not responsible for (i) electronic or digital transmissions or any entries that are late, lost, damaged, incomplete, illegible, garbled, destroyed, or misdirected; (ii) any problems or technical malfunctions, errors, omissions, interruptions, deletions, defects, delay in operation of transmission, communication failures, destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries; (iii) failed of unavailable hardware, network, software or telephone transmissions, damage to entrant’s or any person's computer and/or its contents, or causes beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control that jeopardize the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes; (iv) any entries submitted in a manner that is not expressly allowed under these Rules; (v) incorrect or inaccurate entry information whether caused by entrants or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Sweepstakes; (vi) any typographical or other error in the printing or advertising of the offer, administration or execution of the Sweepstakes, or in the announcement of the winner; or (vii) malfunctions or interference resulting from illicit, malicious or injurious code (including but not limited to viruses, worms and denial of service attacks). Sponsor reserves the right, but shall not be obligated, to cancel, modify or terminate the Sweepstakes if for any reason the Sweepstakes cannot be executed as planned, including but not limited to fraud, misconduct, computer virus, bugs, unauthorized intervention, tampering, transmission failures, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of Sponsor that affect or corrupt the integrity, administration, fairness, or security, or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes, or if the Sweepstakes is compromised or becomes technically corrupted in any way, electronically or otherwise, and to select the winner based on a random drawing only from among all eligible entries received as of the date/time of such termination/cancellation or modification. Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify and prosecute any individual who tampers with or attempts to tamper with the entry process. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THIS SWEEPSTAKES IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS, AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO DISQUALIFY, PROSECUTE AND SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH INDIVIDUAL TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. Sponsor reserves the right to void all entries made through use of any robotic, automatic, programmed or similar entry methods and to disqualify and prosecute any individual using such a method.
GOVERNING LAW & JURISDICTION: All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, your rights and obligations, or the rights and obligations of the Sponsor in connection with the Sweepstakes, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of Ohio. If any provision of these Official Rules is held to be invalid or unenforceable, such provision shall be struck, and the remaining provisions shall be enforced. In the event of a discrepancy or inconsistency between disclosures or other statements contained in any Sweepstakes-related materials or made by any representative of Sponsor, and the terms and conditions of these Official Rules, these Official Rules shall prevail, govern and control.
WINNER INFO: The Winners’ names will be posted online at https://www.moen.com/survey-sweepstakes for 30 days after the Winners have been verified.
