Customer Experiences

Read what some of our customers have to say about their experience with Moen products, or ask a question.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from They leak, and leak, and leak, and leak I have to say, I'm not happy that my builder uses Moen. I have 6 Eva sink faucets, 1 Eva tub faucet and 5 Eva shower / tub faucets. The sink faucets all leak like crazy. The tub/shower faucet handles were only 1 1/2 yrs old before they started to freeze up and wouldn't turn the water off so they leak. We have purified filtered water in the entire house and the drain components all have bubbled, peeled and tarnished. The only benefit to any of this is the warranty but its really a pain in the butt to take everything apart, especially the shower handles, and replace the cartridges.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Leaks after 3 years I have 3 of these in my house only 1 doesn't leak. I've never had moen before and never will again. From bathroom faucets leaking, my kitchen faucet leaks, the handle on my shower is hard to move and makes a weird noise, and when you turn it on. One of the showers, all the water runs out the spout instead of out of the shower head.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from poor engineering The Eva T64200RB has a spout reach of 4.13 inches. If the faucet is mounted on a Granite counter with a bottom mount sink the water coming from the spout will not reach the drain. My drain favors the back of the sink and the water falls short. When they engineered the curve of the faucet they then did not continue with the curve when they tapped it for the aerator. Instead they tapped it straight down not letting the water to continue outward with the arch of the spout. SO with the water on there is 2 inches between the edge of the countertop and 2 inches from the back of the sink which means your going to splash water up on the counter and valves when washing your hands. We all during travel or in restaurants have experienced when washing your hands, sinks where the water was so close to the back and we were uncomfortable with regard to sanitation. I am not sure how this was overlooked but I believe this beautiful unit is now discontinued. Would it be nice it the replacement spout had a longer spout reach? Guy Klein

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Zero Function but Looks Good Without question the faucet looks good. But it’s awful if you use it. Faucets with short necks are expected to project water toward the middle of the sink. Instead the water goes nearly straight down so your hands constantly bump against the back of the sink and excessive amounts of water get splashed outside the sink. Externally the spout neck looks like water will be projected outward but internally it does not follow the visual contour. Internally it projects the water stream with minimal aeration close to straight down resulting in hand contact with the back of the sink and a lot of splashing. No problem if you don’t wash your hands. It takes too much time and expense to get to the point where you can discover if a fixture is serviceable as expected or not. This has added a whole new dimension of products I have to suspicious of marketing/designers removing Function from the equation.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice curves I have had 3 houses with the Eva faucet in all bathrooms. The shape and styling of this faucet is timeless.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Looks great, functions terribly Two years in and the right handle is frozen in place and I’m not yet sure how to remove it because it’s stuck. Haven’t yet found out how to buy just one handle. Will likely go with another brand all together.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Unbelievable I bought 2 sets of the Eva bronze color! That being said. I’ve had it replaced 2 times. The color is turning greenish on some parts. I have city water and o my wipe the faucets with a damp cloth with o my water. Also the faucet is toooo short. But the biggest problem is having them replaced when I paid $150 for each faucet. I won’t be replacing them anymore. I will have to buy a different brand. I’ve had American standard with no problems and I’ve also had delta with not these type of problems. I thought moen made quality parts.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Broke after 2 years; not worth fixing Love the style of this faucet, but it didn't last. Had it repaired previously, and plumber said this time it would be cheaper to replace it. I've had similar problems with valves in my Moen shower valves as well. Doesn't seem like they're making their products as well as they used to, unfortunately.

I have 3 T6430B Eva bathroom faucets. They were installed within the last year by our builder ( new) home in Painesville. Two of the faucets drop real slow, maybe a drip every half hour. Is there a way to tighten or adjust the cartridge to stop the drip?

Asked by: Anonymous
Hello Dave and thank you for your interest in Moen products. The Moen T6420 Eva Bathroom faucets have an internal aerator and the tools came with the faucets. I would change the aerators first, if this doesn't solve the issue you will need to change the cartridges. You can call us at the number below to order parts if needed. If you have additional questions, please call us at 1-800-289-6636; we are available Monday through Friday from 8:00 am – 7:00 pm Eastern Time.

How do I clean the water spots on brushed nickel faucets?

Asked by: lisap333
Thank you so much for your interest in Moen products. The Moen Eva two handle brushed nickel faucet can be cleaned with mild soap, rinsing thoroughly with warm water and drying with a clean, soft cloth. Never use cleaners containing abrasives (including abrasive sponges or steel wool), ammonia, bleach or sodium hypochlorite, organic solvents (e.g. alcohols) or other harsh chemicals (e.g. lime scale removers) to clean the product, as they may damage the finish. Failure to comply with these cleaning instructions may void Moen’s warranty. You may also periodically apply a non-abrasive car wax to the product to seal and protect the finish. If you have additional questions, please call Moen at 1-800-289-6636.
