Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fabulous Contemporary Faucet I purchased this faucet because of the contemporary look. It is a GREAT faucet. I love how it does not show water spots, finger prints and works with little effort. This faucet does not reach way out into the sink however. Often, your hands are touching the back of the sink when just washing your hands.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Looks good BUT I purchased 2sets 4 years ago . Due to water leaks i am replacing my 2nd set of cartridges _ THATS 2 X 2, equals a lot of bucks, a lot of time Equals questions like ( are these Moen products designed to fail in parts to replace so that the company makes even more profit ??????????? think on it

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Hard to fix The builder put these in the two bathrooms in 2010 and when they get stiff you can't change a washer or clean out the faucet. You have to take a photo, send it to Moen, wait for a replacement and have a plumber put it in. My plumber talls me that Calclium builds up in the mechanism and the only thing to do us put in a new one by going under the counter.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beautiful Faucet, but not for under mount sinks Purchased this faucet for both my hall bath and master bath. My hall bath reno was completed first and my sink is an under mount. The Eva spout reach is only 4", but since the sink was an under mount, the faucet install had to clear the rim of the back of the sink under the counter. Setting the faucet back caused the water to flow from the faucet too far back in the sink, resulting in lots of water splashing up on to back of countertop. And if water ran at a trickle, it actually ran onto the back counter. This is not the fault of Moen, it is the way the vanity/sink were designed. The faucet that I picked was not compatible with my vanity/sink style. I found that the Darcy style is very close in look to the Eva and has a 6" spout reach instead. This one will work much better. I have learned that when you pick out your faucet, you need to keep in mind what type of sink you are installing (under mount, drop in, or integrated). Then take a look at the Moen spec sheet for the styles you like and make sure that the spout reach is going to work with your style of sink, keeping in mind that an under mount will require the faucet to be set back further from the actual sink (so a 4" spout reach will most likely not work). Also, I have read some reviews that people have been disappointed with Moen. I can only speak from my experience to say that I have been told that the fixtures that are sold in the box stores (Lowes, Home Depot, etc) are made with plastic and do not hold up well. We have ordered from a bath supplier and were told these are made with metal parts and hold up much better. Have only had our bath faucet for about 6 weeks and have had no problems with install, upkeep or leaking.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice but expensive to purchase the 6900 valve kit The T6420 is a very nice looking and modern faucet. It fits the remodel style that I was going for.

How do I clean the water spots on brushed nickel faucets?

Asked by: lisap333
Thank you so much for your interest in Moen products. The Moen Eva two handle brushed nickel faucet can be cleaned with mild soap, rinsing thoroughly with warm water and drying with a clean, soft cloth. Never use cleaners containing abrasives (including abrasive sponges or steel wool), ammonia, bleach or sodium hypochlorite, organic solvents (e.g. alcohols) or other harsh chemicals (e.g. lime scale removers) to clean the product, as they may damage the finish. Failure to comply with these cleaning instructions may void Moen’s warranty. You may also periodically apply a non-abrasive car wax to the product to seal and protect the finish. If you have additional questions, please call Moen at 1-800-289-6636.

How do I retighten handles for lav set T6420?

Asked by: lisap333
Thank you so much for your interest in Moen products. The Eva handles have two parts. The top part is the lever that rotates to turn the water on and off. The bottom part is a bell shaped hub. If the bell part is loose, it can be threaded down. If the lever is loose then the screw inside the hub can be tightened. We have attached an illustration which may help. If you have additional questions, please complete the form at https://www.moen.com/consumer-support/contact-us or call Moen at 1-800-289-6636.

Do you have to purchase the rough-in-valve if you are replacing a Moen faucet?

Asked by: lisap333
Thank you for your interest in Moen products. A Moen 9000 rough in valve is needed to install or complete an Eva trim kit. Did you have a Moen faucet installed previously? If so, it may already be using a Moen M-pact 9000 valve which can be re-used with the new Eva trim. If you are unsure what is currently installed, please post a picture of your product for identification purposes or contact Moen at 800-289-6636.
