The Moen reverse osmosis water system reduces contaminants, such as arsenic, fluoride, total dissolved solids (TDS), bacteria, lead, mercury, chlorine, pharmaceuticals, and more. It can also reduce over 95% of perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA) and perfluorooctane sulfonate (PFOS) in drinking water.
The advanced water filtration system removes 30 known contaminants with the standard filter and over 70 contaminants with the advanced filter, including lead, mercury, asbestos, pesticides and VOCs.
A reverse osmosis system separates water molecules from contaminants by using air pressure to filter water through a semipermeable membrane. Only water molecules can pass through the membrane's microscopic pores, leaving you with fresh drinking water on one side and concentrated contaminants on the other.
Our carbon filter system packs the performance of a muti-stage filter into a single step so you can enjoy filtered water with a higher flow rate.
Standard activated carbon filters for the single-stage system provide 500 gallons of filtered water for 6 months while the advanced filters provide 845 gallons and last for up to a year. Reverse osmosis cartridges should be replaced every 6 months.
