Customer Experiences

Read what some of our customers have to say about their experience with Moen products, or ask a question.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Worked Great for 6 Years, but Now.... We had this faucet installed in early 2014 and it has worked beautifully until now. When the sensor it activated, the water does not fully turn off anymore and must be manually turned off. I've been researching the issue and remedy online and am dismayed that even replacing parts may not solve the problem. I understand design improvements may have been made, but the faucet is far more expensive now than in 2014.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Moen Support is a Disappointment Plumber attempted to install Arbor 7594C this morning. Couldn’t get sensors to work. Reset, but no cigar. Called Moen support, who suggested that Moen send a replacement sensor unit. Rep said unit could not be sent for next day arrival, delivery will be 2-3 weeks. Yikes!! I’m supposed to leave my kitchen without a faucet while I wait 2-3 weeks for replacement sensor unit so install can be completed? So, plumber is re-installing old faucet while I return new Moen faucet. This is not a good start.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great all round kitchen faucet. The motion sensors are great for washing your hands and dishes. The high power spray is also a great addition for cleaning dishes. The retractable nozzle is easy to use and retracts without issue. Install was straight forward with no issues.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Over priced, under valued, just not worth it Too many things tend to go wrong with this device. Water runs by itself... setting need to be adjusted - constantly... batteries are source of constant change... installation by the construction crew was awful. I'll take an old fashioned standard setup anytime.

For some reason after we changed the batteries the faucet is super sensitive now.  When I use the handle or the touchless sensor and then turn off and try to turn back on the blue light blinks steadily for 30 seconds and will not work.

My Arbor Spot Resist Stainless One-Handle High Arc MotionSense Pulldown Kitchen Faucet is starting to drip at the end of the spout after almost 5 years. I replaced the batteries hoping this would take care of the problem, but it did not. Any suggestions?

Why does the faucet switch on the water for no reason? My wife and I are in the living room and occasionally hear the faucet activate on its own. We just purchased/installed and are now wondering whether we made a good choice... Please advise

Asked by: DANAM
Hello DANAM and thank you for your interest in Moen products. The Moen Arbor One-Handle High-Arc MotionSense Pulldown Kitchen Faucet may just need a reset if it is going on/off intermittently. You will disconnect the battery holder cable and leave disconnected for 10 seconds. Make sure nothing is within 3 feet of the sensors when this is being done. Then, reinsert the cable and ensure cable is pushed all the way into the control box. If you have additional questions, please feel free to call our Consumer Services Contact Center.

Batteries died I put new ones in but it isn’t working now.  I unplugged battery pack to reset but still nothing.  I hear a sound in pack when I reset.  Help !   Sensor not turning blue no water coming out

Asked by: Fran
Hello Fran and thank you for your interest in the Moen Arbor One-Handle High Arc MotionSense Pulldown Kitchen Faucet. Please follow these steps to reset your faucet: 1. Unplug both the power cord and the data cable from the control box under the sink. Leave them out for 60 seconds. 2. Do not stand or let anyone walk in front of the faucet while it is rebooting. 3. After 60 seconds, plug the data cable in first, then the power cord. Make sure they are both pushed in completely. 4. If you have a black control box, the water will turn on and off by itself 2x. If the control box is gray, it will turn on/off by itself 1x. 5. After completing this process, the sensors should work normally. Our highly trained Product Consultants can answer your technical questions; please feel free to call our Helpline for further assistance.

Does the pull down spout reset after use?  In other words, if I used the spray function would it come back on as a spray the next time I used the faucet? Or would it reset to a stream? Thanks!

Why do I need the power splitter with the ac adapter in kit 169031 recommended for this motion sensor faucet? It will not get plugged into a shared outlet controlled by on off switch

Asked by: Jimboob
Hello Jimboob and thank you for your interest in the Moen Arbor Chrome One-Handle High Arc MotionSense Pulldown Kitchen Faucet. This faucet requires a power source at all times, even to run the water manually. The optional 169031 Moen Adapter with power splitter is designed to plug into an outlet (not controlled by a switch); if the power should go out, the adapter will automatically switch over to the batteries so you can continue the use of your faucet. If you have additional questions, please feel free to call us at 800-289-6636. Our current business hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 am - 7:00 pm (Eastern Time).
