Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just ordered another one! I've had this faucet for 2 1/2 years and love it. I just ordered another one for a vacation home we are building. I did have some issues with the sensors after about a year--likely related to a power surge in the house--but Moen sent whole new faucet and electronics and it continues to work smoothly. They do take a bit of getting used to -- particularly the front sensor, but you can always turn off one or both easily. For someone who's hands are often covered in dough or other less desirable things, a touchless faucet is fabulous. I don't love the "spray" function, but it works well enough.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product, great serive and an easy install We had this faucet installed as part of a full kitchen remodel and after about a week I could not get the ready feature to work properly. I tried all the fixes and finally called Moen and got Arianna (?). She quickly diagnosed the problem as a crimped wire and sent a replacement faucet the arrived the next day. Naturally the contractor could not get back for a couple of days, and the more I looked at the product it looked like a simple and straight forward job, even for a 70 year old, slightly over weight man! I crawled under the sink, over the disposal and over the drain and disconnected the old unit and sure enough the wire had been crimped and I quickly removed the old unit, put the new one in, secured the nut and ran the wires, replaced the pull out wand and restarted the faucet. It now works like a charm and we are so happy with the faucet and the service provided by MOEN.The remodel did redo the bath room and it is also all new MOEN products, basin faucets, shower, shower hand held and bath tub filler and wand. The "wave" feature is much easier to use and avoids dirty fingerprints. High quality material and modern style. Easy to install and finish is perfect.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the Sensors Love this product. It looks very modern and the two sensors make tasks much easier. It also saves water by not running it all the time. I would definitely purchase this again.One gets so used to this feature when going to someone else you wonder why the faucet doesn't go on automatically. Improvements that could be made (thus only 4 stars on features): 1) Sprayhead: when pressed to spray, one cannot return to stream without turning faucet off to reset. (I was told Moen is working to correct this) 2) The Ready Sensor: reacts well to hands and light colored objects. Darker colored objects like dark green or black cups, you need to move closer to the sensor to activate and may miss the cup. Not a biggy for me, I just use my hands to activate or the Wave Sensor. 3) Product Description: doesn't mention or it's not clear that you need 7-9" clearance above the the wave sensor. If you have a regular cabinet above the sink (typ 18-20" above counter) the wave sensor will not work. I found out through a rep and redesigned my kitchen with a higher cabinet above the sink. I would recommend that anyway even if you don't get this faucet, it's more headroom, feels less restricted. 4) Accessory descriptions: Not completely clear: the control box can come with a wall mount kit that has to be purchased separately. In most cases you may not need that, but if you have deep sink, it's hard to access if you don't. 5) soap dispenser: please make a Motionsense soap dispenser to match the align style, it's counter intuitive to have an auto faucet and a manual pump right next to it. If possible, make the AC adapter in such a way that both the faucet and dispenser can be plugged into one adapter. Also recommend getting the AC adapter (sold separately) if you have an outlet nearby, otherwise when the batteries are out, the faucet won't work. Keep the battery pack for power outages. Another advice, this is a fully electronic faucet, even the handle is electronic, so if power is out or something is wrong with the electronics, there is no manual override. I know people that have had these for years with no issue, so that's why I gave it a shot.

What keeps the water from turning on when the batteries go dead?

How is this faucet with pets? I had a cat turn on my faucet and flooded my brand new kitchen. I have since been using rubber bands to hold the faucet handle closed. I’m looking for a automated solution, but need to be confident my cats can’t turn water on

Hello Carter and thank you for your interest in Moen products. The Moen Align, model #7565EC, does have the ready sensor in the front of the spout that can be activated with motion.

water dribbles out when turned on. After a while it has full flow. What is the problem
