You would need to follow the following steps to connect the new controller to your home Wi-Fi network.

Open the Moen Smart Water App. Select 'Settings', and scroll to the bottom of the page.
Select 'Forget Controller'. This will remove the current shower controller from the app.
Close the Moen Smart Water App.
Install the new controller.
Open the Moen Smart Water App. Select 'Add Device' and follow the instructions provided by the Moen Smart Water App after this selection is made.
