North Olmsted, Ohio... Moen, the leader in water experiences in the home, is introducing M-CORE™, a valve system that’s simpler and faster for pros to install, and offers consumers functionality with the style choices they desire to create their ideal shower system. Moen conducted extensive research to create M-CORE, and what drove the design was a passion to make the workday more streamlined for pro installers and to give consumers more freedom in terms of showering functionality and design in their new construction or remodel projects.
“M-CORE is a really exciting launch for Moen as it allows us to create a better experience for everyone – our customers, installers and the consumer,” said Bob Burns, senior product manager, bath, Moen. “It was our mission to develop a valve system that incorporates features and benefits to meet the multi-faceted needs of each of these audiences, and we think we’ve done that extremely well. M-CORE features enhanced functionality with more design choices for consumers, more flexible installation to save installers time and money, and gives our customers a more streamlined sales process by offering a wide variety of trim options to suit the design aesthetic of any project.”
A Valve Designed with the Installer in Mind:
Valve installation is an extremely technical and tremendously complex job that requires a lot of time and a high level of plumbing skill. It can be tricky and time consuming. The M-CORE valve system is making this process a whole lot easier for pro installers by allowing them to quickly and efficiently install a valve that will allow for adaptable functionality once it has been plumbed.
“We’re committed to the trades, and M-CORE is another example of how we’re always striving to engage this group and support their work through innovative products that make their jobs easier,” said Burns. “The valve’s features were designed to reduce time and labor costs, without sacrificing work quality.”
The M-CORE system also features an integrated mounting bracket that secures the valve directly to a brace, streamlining the installation process. It offers a quicker temperature limit stop adjustment process, and the integrated test plug allows installers to easily flush and test the system without having to remove or install the cartridge. M-CORE mixing and transfer valves also are available in several inlet and outlet plumbing options to meet the needs of installers.
How it Works:
Once installed, the M-CORE valves with new 3 Series trim have pressure-balancing capabilities designed to control temperature fluctuations in the event of water pressure changes in the home and feature volume control, allowing users to adjust the flow of water to their meet their bathing needs. The 3 Series trim for M-CORE valves is available in a wide range of style and finish choices.
With M-CORE transfer valves, consumers can choose from a wide range of options to flow showering devices in single or shared modes. The updated transfer valves allow for greater functionality and offer a trim style that matches perfectly, seamlessly completing the look of the shower system.
A Designer’s Dream:
Homeowners can enjoy M-CORE's improved style options including perfectly matching mixing and transfer trim, and attention to detail that reflects consumer desire for a dream bathroom. Not only does M-CORE allow for a wider array of trim selections, it also lets those consumers going through the new construction or remodeling process take their time with selections as functionality and style choices can be made after the valve is plumbed.
