North Olmsted, Ohio... There really is no place like home. Whether it's been hours, days or weeks away, coming home provides a sigh of relief and relaxation -- which is why the theme for NextGen Home TV's (NGHTV) latest project, the 2015 NextGen Home, is "Welcome Home." Moen, the number one faucet brand in North America, is pleased to be part of the showcase in partnership with NextGen Home TV. In celebration of the 20th anniversary celebration of Rebuilding Together's Kickoff to Rebuild project, a Super Bowl sanctioned event, a new modular home will be donated to a Phoenix, Arizona area veteran.
The 2015 project home offers next generation solutions and products for the entire family. This year, half of the home will be on display at the International Builder's Show during Design & Construction Week in Las Vegas, from January 20-22. Directly following the show, the home will be transported to Phoenix and assembled for the Rebuilding Together event.
"Like Moen, Rebuilding Together realizes the importance of helping those in need, and we're excited that our products were used to create a space that provides a fresh start to a veteran," said Maribeth Kwasniewski, director of retail marketing, Moen. "The NextGen home features our latest thoughtfully designed products, including stylish grab bars and handheld showers, that will help make the winner's home life much easier."
The 1,700 square foot, three-bedroom and two-bathroom home features a number of Moen products that provide the best in modern style and functionality throughout the kitchen and bathrooms. The focal point of the kitchen is the Delaney™ with MotionSense™ hands-free faucet that responds to users' simple hand movements to activate water flow. The faucet can be turned on in one of three ways: simply wave your hand over the top of the faucet, place an object under the faucet or use the handle for manual operation. With MotionSense, tasks like washing dishes, filling a glass of water and preparing the evening meal are simplified.
The two bathrooms are equipped with faucets and accessories in styles including Moen's distinctively modern Arris® suite and the new, transitional style Oxby™ suite. Oxby is featured in Moen's exclusive Spot Resist™ Brushed Nickel finish -- the number one selling spot resistant finish, which resists fingerprints and water spots, helping to maintain the brilliance of the faucet for a fresh appearance. The home also incorporates universal design with Moen® Home Care® products, including a fold-down teak shower seat and coordinating modern grab bars for bathrooms that are not only stylish, but safe.
Extending thoughtful design into the shower, each bathroom includes Moen's new Magnetix™ handheld showerheads, which feature an innovative and powerful magnetic mount to provide secure docking and allow for easy release and return of the showerhead. All Moen products featured in the home are also ADA compliant.
Additionally, all lavatory faucets in the home are certified to meet WaterSense® criteria, meaning the fixtures meet the Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) guidelines as environmentally responsible and efficient products. The faucets are flow-optimized and allow water to flow at 1.5 gallons per minute (gpm), delivering the sensational water experience that consumers have come to expect from Moen, while conserving water.
