Rated 5 out of 5 by from T6905 Voss chrome faucet We have been using this new faucet for about two months after our bathroom remodel. We like the modern design and finish. But the water flow is much less than the faucet we replaced due to the restricted aerator. I ordered an optional aerator that will increase the flow slightly, so I hope we will be satisfied with that one.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love the faucets but stay away from the shower trim These are super cute. I easily installed them myself. I HATE the shower items of the Voss line though

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Difficult Install Didn't realize that valve kit is a separate purchase. Did not know that it would considerably more difficult to install than a Delta product. Engineering is not well thought out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from excellent built product This faucet replaces a worn out unit. This one works wonderfully well, nice and solid. However, the stopper rod assembly is flimsy and for it to work well I had to tighten it with adhesive tape. This should not happen with this high-end product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality Faucet We had to replace the old faucet due to parts not being available so we wanted a known brand facet and we are very pleased that we chose Moen

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Does not include necessary installation hardware Might be a great faucet but I don't know because the installation could not be completed as the necessary hardware was not included. Now I have to figure out how to acquire that and then reschedule a handyman to finish installation. This will mean considerable additional cost and time so no, probably not a good deal.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Installation can be tricky! This review focuses on the installation of a Moen 2-part faucet using the product number 9000 Two-Handle Widespread Lavatory Rough-Inn Valve and a corresponding faucet trim product (my installation was product number T6905 from the Voss collection). As with all Moen products I have purchased over the years, the faucet and rough-in valve were of very high quality, worked smoothly and with an excellent chrome finish. The installation of the Moen widespread faucet is different in that the spout and each faucet are connected with a flexible hose. This arrangement allows flexibility in placing each component (i.e., the faucets can be 8 inches apart, or 4 inches, or 7.35 inches, etc.); however, it also means that it can take extra time to ensure each component is aligned. The spout and valve bodies require a minimum 1-1/8 inch mounting hole; the holes in my counter were 1-3/8 inch; this results in a ¼ inch wiggle room. I did not realize this until the rough-in installation was complete and I started to attach the finish pieces on top of the counter. It resulted in the valves and spout not being uniformly lined up – the spout and one valve were OK, but the second valve was about ¼ inch closer to the sink (a small amount, but very noticeable to me). For my installation, the counter was already installed (engineered quartz with under-mount sinks) and accessing the valve bodies through the cabinet door openings was challenging to say the least – if at all possible, I highly recommend that you install the faucet prior to mounting the counter to the cabinet. It was not fun to have to squeeze under the two sinks a second time to properly align the spout and faucets with my wife carefully measuring to ensure uniformity. In addition to alignment problems due to the wiggle room typically found in countertops, the rotational alignment can also be tricky. The valve body has a splined stem which mates with the splined faucet handle. The splines seem to be spaced closely enough to allow uniform alignment, but I found this not to be so. When I noticed the two faucets were not uniform, I took one handle off the splined stem and rotated it such that it moved one spline. However, this over-corrected the miss-alignment. Eventually I had to again go under the sink, loosen the valve body, and carefully rotate the assembly with (again) my wife eying the alignment to ensure the two faucets were uniform in appearance. If this all sounds like a lot of work, it is. Plus I have two sinks in that bathroom; the whole process took several hours. On the other hand, Moen has done a good job of engineering the valve rough-in. There is one hose which connects each faucet to the spout and it attaches to each component with a very slick push-on connector; no wrenches required! Moen also provides a special wrench to hold the nut which fastens the spout assembly to the sink; it is about 8 inches in length and makes installation of the nut (which is high up behind the sink bowl) very easy. The valve body hold-down nuts however, must be tightened with a wrench or long-grip pliers in the usual knuckle-busting manner. We are very happy with the Moen faucets in our recently remodeled bathroom, but the installation can be tricky. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Do the Stainless faucets spot or are they spotless? Are there any special instructions on taking care of these faucets?

Asked by: Cb1107
Hello CB1107 and thank you for your interest in Moen products. The Moen Voss Brushed nickel two-handle high arc bathroom faucet is not spot resist nickel. LifeShine finishes can be cleaned with most household cleaners (including mild abrasives), when used according to the manufacturers' instructions for use. Avoid using any cleaners or pads/sponges that are unsafe for polished metallic surfaces. Cleaner manufacturers may change their formulations at any time; therefore, Moen does not recommend any specific cleanser. Immediately after cleaning your faucet, wash off remaining cleanser with water. Most green, fibrous pads or sponges contain microscopic mineral particles that can scratch a faucet's finish, including LifeShine finishes. To remove water spots, use a soft, damp cloth. We also suggest a periodic application of a quality, non-abrasive wax such as car wax or furniture wax.

I have an elderly friend that had this bathroom sink faucet MT6905 installed on new granite ....the whole faucet assembly turns on top of granite when she turns on hot or cold side? Shouldn't the upper handle part on the base be the only thing that turns?

Asked by: Linconway
Hello Linconway and thank you for your interest in Moen products. The upper handle/lever on Model T6905 should be the only part that moves when the lever is rotated. A replacement part may be needed. Please contact us at 800-289-6636 for assistance.
