Customer Experiences

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Disappointed I had these Brantford oil rubbed bronze bathroom faucets in my old house and absolutely loved them! I just moved to a brand new house and decided to get the same faucets. The style of the spout was somewhat updated to make the end of the spout a little fluted. I liked the old style better but what is REALLY annoying is the spout is noticeably lighter and more “coppery” than the handles. They added so much copper to the spout that it looks like the handles belong to a different faucet. It drives me crazy when companies update a really nice product and make it worse.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Cleaning out Filter mesh screen at spout? I have a question about how I would go about releasing the wire mesh screen at the spout to clean it out. We have tons of limestone in our water, and after a few years, I am losing water flow. Is there a specialized wrench needed to release it? On my old faucets, I could just manually unscrew the end of the faucet to release the mesh. This sleek design doesn’t allow that.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Crap_design The cartridge is held in place by a plastic retaining nut, which is made of some of the softest plastic known to man. It strips out when you remove it, and also when you screw the new one in. Total waste of time and money. I will never buy a Moen product again.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Brantford Brushed Nickel Finish This faucet is well-made & looks nice, however the brushed nickel finish is very hard to keep clean. It shows water spots and finger prints & can look dirty after one hand washing. The price is relatively low compared to the similar Moen Kingsley faucet.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love the look. Had a problem with all of my new faucets dripping. Turns out Moen had redesigned a cartridge recently and it seems not to do as good a job as their older ones. They responded quickly with replacements and reimbursed me for the cost of my plumber returning to install. They are working fine now.

My constructor chose Moen in the whole House. I have been living here for three years. During that time I have to change twice the shower head, now the two handles in the sink are broken. I don’t see how it can be fixing. Can I get a new one to replace?

My Branford oil rubbed bronze  faucet is beautiful but the drain plug does not seal properly to keep water in the sink despite numerous adjustments.  I am thinking that the drain plug itself is defective in some way.  Is it possible to get a replacement?

Will the spout be long enough for undermount sinks? I have found some faucet spouts too short where water flows too close to the back of sink bowl thereby creating a lot of water spillage on the counter?

Asked by: TerryCalabash
Hello TerryCalabash and thank you for your interest in Moen products. The specification sheet for this model shows the spout length is 5 inches from the center line of the spout. The spout reach into your sink would depend on where the holes are drilled in the countertop. If you have additional questions, please feel free to call us at 800-289-6636. Our current business hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 am - 5:30 pm (Eastern Time).

When I saw this faucet in a showroom there are distinct ”red” and ”blue” rings on the respective handles. I do not see these Rings on your stock photos.  Are these colored rings removable /optional.

Asked by: Aku1
Hello Aku1 and thank you for your interest in Moen products. The Moen Brantford, model #T6620, no longer comes with the red/blue washers but they can be ordered separately to install under the handle cap.

What exactly comes with this faucet. The blurb does not state what is included with the faucet. Does it include the drain and pop-up or Is it a stand alone faucet kit that I can install with out additional parts?

Asked by: Chisholm Charlie
Thank you so much for your interest in Moen products. The Moen Brantford 2-handle widespread lavatory sink faucet trim kit does not come with the complete drain assembly. It will come with the drain plug and drain seat. The complete drain assembly will come with the rough-in valve, 9000, which is sold separately. If you have additional questions, please call Moen at 1-800-289-6636.
