Rated 2 out of 5 by from They ruined this product I have been buying this faucet for years for my apartments (the CA 87526) The Quality was always top quality. The construction of the faucet was brass. Recently I bought a supply of these faucets and they are now made of PLASTIC. The base of the faucet needs to be snapped together and if you do not get it together correctly on the first try there is a good chance that you will break it when trying to get the base apart, Moen gave the consumer no indication that they made a change, they used the same model number as the older quality one. When I called Moen to ask about the change I was told that this was done to lower lead content. That answer does not sit well with me. I do not know is that is a real answer or not, but it sounds like a former quality company going down hill just to put out a cheep product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Basic Kitchen Faucet that gets the job done My plumber told me my old faucet (at least 30 years old) would need to be replaced and only recommended Moen. I bought a basic faucet for my old 44 year old sink. It has perked up my kitchen. It came with long enough hose/lines so my plumber didn't have to add to them. He was happy, I am very happy. Thank you.

How do I tighten the on off lever?

Asked by: Susan2
Hello Susan2 and thank you for your interest in Moen products. The Moen Adler kitchen faucet, model # CA87526, does have a set screw located in the back of the handle lever. Depending on the age of the faucet, you will need either a 7/64” or 3/32” allen wrench to tighten it. If you should have additional questions, please feel free to call us at 800-289-6636. Our current business hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. (Eastern Time).
