Rated 1 out of 5 by from Be Forewarned! The lever sticks out from the escutcheon by one-half inch to as much as one and one-half inch, allowing the stop tube to show. The stop tube is a cheap piece of metal -- not plated to match the chrome on the rest of the control. I thought the plumber had made a mistake when installing it. The Moen customer service rep assured me there was no mistake and said the handle must stick out to prevent it from scratching the escutcheon. Since the handle just swivels (it doesn't tilt and turn), there's no need for that much clearance. The two screws that attach the escutcheon to the shower wall also are visible. They would look much better if they were flush with the surface of the escutcheon but no, they are round head screws. I have Moen fixtures throughout the kitchen and baths in our home and have been satisfied with their design and functionality in the past. But the design of this one is a big disappointment. I would change it out, but that entails removing the shower wall and replumbing so the valve doesn't stick out so far. Even that would not completely hide the stop tube. Moen mailed me another tube and I had hoped it would look better than the first. Not so. I would not recommend this fixture to anyone.

Hello,  I have a Alder diverter and I would like to change my trim would this trim work?

Asked by: Dniceone
Hello Dniceone and thank you for your interest in Moen products. The Moen 90 degree 3 function transfer trim, model #TS4173 won’t fit on an on/off valve. This is only used for a transfer valve.
