Moen® Products Elevate Residents’ Every Day Experiences in New Dallas Development, The 23

IN THE BATH

U by Moen is a Wi-Fi/cloud-based digital shower that offers mobile connectivity and unmatched personalization, providing users with countless ways to create their ideal showering experience with the sound of their voice through Amazon Alexa, or the push of a button with the U by Moen app on their smartphone and the shower controller.

To utilize the voice activation, users simply ask Alexa to remotely start the shower. Once they have created personalized presets in the U by Moen app, users state the name of the preset or specify a certain water temperature for the shower within the command. Examples include, “Alexa, ask Moen to start preset ‘Morning Shower,’” or, “Alexa, ask Moen to turn on to 103 degrees.” If you’re ready to turn the shower off say, “Alexa, ask Moen to turn off my shower.”

The U by Moen smartphone app gives users the ability to create up to 12 personalized presets, including name, greeting, outlets, temperature, shower timer and notifications. The shower system also integrates water savings elements, as well. With remote activation, users can start their shower from bed and when it’s ready, an alert will be sent to their smartphone. This warm up and pause feature will heat the shower to the desired temperature and pause, holding the setting, until the user is ready to get in. U by Moen also allows users to set timers for the length of the shower, which will keep users on schedule and help control water usage.

To make things easier on the installer, U by Moen shower offers a 30-foot data cable between the digital valve and controller so it can be put wherever is most convenient for the property.

At the sink, the Gibson lavatory faucets feature a sleek, contemporary design and are certified to meet WaterSense® criteria and feature a flow rate of 1.5 gallons per minute (gpm), versus the 2.2 gpm standard, which can provide the property with additional savings on utilities as less water is used.

 

IN THE KITCHEN

The Align spring kitchen faucet features an on-trend industrial look and delivers a more convenient kitchen experience every day. Its thoughtfully designed, pulldown hose provides extended reach, as well as a multi-function spray wand that's easy to maneuver, and a hose that retracts effortlessly and docks securely.

Moen’s Power Clean™ technology is included on the faucet to provide 50 percent more spray power versus most of Moen’s pulldown and pullout faucets without the Power Clean technology, all while containing splashing and minimizing mess. Now, users can clean dishes faster while reducing the amount of residual water in and around the sink. Greater force means faster clean-up with less water used.
