Step 1: Choose Your Personal Showerhead Style

Start personalizing your space by finding a showerhead that’s easy to install, meets your needs and meets all of your shower goals. There are four main categories of showerheads to choose from — fixed, rain showers, handheld and combination showers — but within these categories there’s a wealth of options.

  • Fixed and wall mounted showerheads connect to a shower arm on the wall of your shower. While these showerheads may seem simple, they often include a variety of spray settings to rinse, massage and relax.
  • Rain showers or spa showers can easily replace standard fixed showerheads for an elevated experience. Rain shower heads feature a larger spray face to create the soothing feel of rainfall. Moen showerheads like the Verso™ Rainshower provide full, cleansing coverage with innovative features like Infiniti™ Dial so you can seamlessly switch between unlimited spray and coverage options. Verso Rainshowers with Magnetix™ are also designed to make cleaning your showerhead as easy as possible. Just remove the showerhead, soak it in a cleaning solution, wipe it clean and snap it back into place — no tools required.
  • Handheld showerheads also connect to the wall but have a long hose to give you a wide range of motion in the shower. Handheld showers are versatile and adjustable, making them the perfect option for bathing kids and pets. Plus, they can reach and rinse every corner of your shower, making it easier than ever to clean your bathroom. Verso handshowers come in a variety of styles and finishes to create a cohesive look in your bath. Each also features Magnetix™ technology so you can easily release the hand shower and snap it back into place — even with your eyes closed.
  • Combination showers include a rainshower and hand shower in one sleek design. Enjoy the fixed showerhead and hand held shower separately or use them together for a spa- like experience.

Step 2: Install Your New Showerhead

Updating your showerhead is as easy as 1-2-3. And within minutes, you can create a completely new and refreshing experience. Here’s how: Unscrew the existing showerhead from the shower arm, using a crescent wrench if necessary.

Remove any old thread seal tape and apply some new plumber’s tape by wrapping it around the shower arm threads two to three times. Screw the new showerhead onto the shower arm by hand, then use the wrench to tighten. If you’re installing a handheld version, screw the bracket to the shower arm first and tighten with a wrench. Then, attach the hose and handheld shower to the bracket.

Step 3: Relax & Enjoy

Now you're ready to make the most of your new shower retreat. You can indulge in the shower experience of your dreams anytime you wish — all without the cost or the headache of a bathroom remodel.
