North Olmsted, Ohio... Moen's Commercial Division now offers lower flow rates for a number of its kitchen and lavatory faucets. These reduced flow rates comply with mandatory and voluntary water conservation legislation standards.

  • A number of Moen Commercial products meet or exceed the requirements to qualify for:
    • Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED®) points
    • WaterSense®-labeling
    • International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials (IAPMO) Green
    • Local and state legislations, including California Green Building Standards Code (CalGreen), Georgia Water Stewardship Act and New York City Local Law 57
  • The following Moen Commercial products are compliant with existing sustainable building standards:
    • M•Dura™ heavy-duty commercial lavatory faucets -- feature multiple flow rates: 2.2 gallons per minute (gpm) and new ultra-low flow faucets as low as 0.35 gpm
    • M•Bition™ medium-duty commercial lavatory faucets -- available with 1.5 gpm, flow rates, meeting WaterSense criteria and new ultra-low flow models at 0.5 gpm and 0.35 gpm to maximize LEED points
    • M•Dura kitchen, bar/pantry, utility and service sink faucets -- feature a 2.2 gpm with alternative flow control service kits available
    • M•Press™ metering faucets -- when set at 30 seconds, faucets flow at 0.25 gallons per cycle (gpc), meeting current local and state legislations, including CalGreen, Georgia Water Stewardship Act and New York City Local Law 57
    • M•Power™ electronic flush valves -- preset at 0.125 (pint) to 0.5 gallons per flush (gpf) flow rates for urinal valves; and 1.28 gpf for closet valves -- all which meet or exceed CalGreen and LEED requirements
    • Nearly all of Moen Commercial's M•Bition kitchen faucets have been reduced to 1.5 gpm, meeting Georgia Water Stewardship Act requirements
    • WaterSense®-labeled shower systems as well as hand showers and fixed showerhead accessories are available in a choice of 1.75 gpm or 1.5 gpm flow rates
